Cenex-LCV2018 opens for stand bookings

Bookings can now be placed for exhibition space at Cenex-LCV2018, the UK’s premier Low Carbon Vehicle event, which will be held on 12 & 13 September 2018 at Millbrook, Bedford.

Following the success of LCV2017, demand for exhibition space at LCV2018 is already extremely high.

Cenex-LCV2018 will be part of a series of national low carbon vehicle events run by Cenex. LCV2018 is a fully established event within the motor industry with visitor attendance increasing year on year, positioning the event as the place to showcase new technology and low carbon automotive businesses. It provides exhibitors with a technology exhibition across four halls as well as an outdoor exhibition space on the Steering Pad for both static and ride and drive vehicles.

The Cenex Low Carbon Vehicle (LCV2017) event took place at Millbrook in Bedfordshire on 6-7 September, but the reason for the event’s existence came in a statement from Jaguar Land Rover at the TechFest event in London.

On 7 September JLR announced that all its new vehicles will be electrified from 2020, and told Green Car Guide: “We’d love to build EVs in the UK and make the UK a global centre of excellence for battery research and development. However, this is entirely dependent on overcoming infrastructure and capacity issues. Electrification is front and centre of Jaguar Land Rover’s future – but it needs government, academia and business to bolster infrastructure and progress.” Read more
