A practical 100% electric van has now arrived thanks to the Nissan e-NV200 van now having a range of 174 miles due to a new 40kWh battery. This represents a 60% extended range, or 62 miles.
The e-NV200 is available in Van, Combi or Evalia variants, with 4 or 5 doors, and 2, 5 or 7 seats. There’s no increase in the size of the battery itself so there’s no compromise in either load space or payload.
The new longer range e-NV200 was unveiled today at Nissan Futures 3.0 in Oslo, Norway – Europe’s Green Capital for 2019. The van represents a key pillar in Nissan’s wider commitment to cutting the level of CO2 emissions in city centres caused by professional drivers making deliveries and/or collections.

Charging times are 21.5 hours from a standard domestic supply, 7.5 hours from a 32A wallbox, or 40 minutes for 80% quick charge.
The new e-NV200 equipped with upgraded 40kWh battery will be available to order before the end of 2017.
